Silver Jubilee #2526

#FIPHK celebrated its Silver Jubilee Year #2526 on 24-Jan-2026. The event kicked off with the National Anthem, followed by the digital lighting of the sacred lamp.

The evening was graced by Consul General of India, Patron of FIPHK along with his Consuls in Hong Kong. The rundown included a medley of Indian Kathak and Spanish Tap Dancing, followed for the first time of a Bihu Dance Team from Assam performing in Hong Kong.

The sitting President acknowledged the Past Presidents (Dr. Harry Banga, B S Rath & Anurag Bhatnagar) presenting mementos while the Founding Members (Dr. Harry Banga, Mr B S Rath, Gautam Bardoloi Vikas Mehra Mr. Kapil Kapur) present on 13-Dec-2001 at the formation day was felicitated by Consul General of India in HK & Macau. Ms. Suman Vaze accepted the memento on behalf of Late. Mr. Sanjay Vaze, who was one of the founding members. Post Dinner, the evening saw the dance floor open up to the live music of Tal-pe-Tal from Mumbai. The President in his reflection also expressed appreciation on behalf of the Forum to the sponsors for the evening i.e. Caravel Group, Mrs. Purviz Shroff & Late Mr. Rusy Shroff, Citi Bank, HSBC, Habib Bank Zurich (HK) Ltd., ICICI Bank, JP Morgan Private Bank, Morgan Stanley, Peak Re & DBS Bank & travel partner being Butter Associates. The BoD & MC raised a toast while the audience present acknowledged the effort put in by the Organising Committee for #2526
