It was easy to tell that Suresh comes from the authentic, genuine, and people-centric school of corporate leadership. As he enthralled our members with his views on managing companies, leading people, resolving crises, and working across borders laced with wit & humor (under Chatham House Rule), across a career spanning more than 4 decades.

The added bonus for all of us through the evening was to witness Suresh recite Kabir’s couplets with consummate ease. Suresh ensured that brevity is not only the soul of wit: it is the soul of wisdom too. “Purpose + People + Partnership + Planet = Performance” is one of his guiding principles, and he narrated numerous examples over the course of the evening on how he has practiced this through his career, including most notably, the 2015 Maggi crisis in India that Suresh was hand-picked to resolve on behalf of his organization.
